Help Save A Life! Share This Book With Someone Learning To Drive

Every year 800 American's are killed (and thousands more injured) in accidents caused by cold weather. A phenomenon known as "black ice" is one factor in some of these accidents. That was the inspiration for Charles Dewandeler's thrilling novel of the same name. You can help save the life of someone you know by gifting them a copy of "Black Ice", available on Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com

What is Black Ice? Author Charles Dewandeler explains in this free video.

Here are some tips provided by Charles Dewandeler in his book:
1.) Drive slow, much slower than you normally would.
2.) Increase the distance between you and the car in front of you. This gives you more space to stop.
3.) Pump the brakes, do not slam on the brakes. Slamming on the brakes can cause spinouts.
4.) If your car starts to skid, don't over-correct. Turn into the skid and always avoid swerving into oncoming traffic.
5.) Check the tread on your tires. Don't drive on "bald" tires. Or better yet, use snow tires in the winter.
6.) Keep a winter emergency kit in your car, including a blanket and flashlight.

Charles Dewandeler goes into more detail in his book, which contains a fictional story about teenagers getting killed in cold weather accidents. It's the only novel in the world which is scary, sexy, funny, and could save your life!
